    Introduction

    Alleantia provide the simplest and cost-effective edge software to make industrial devices ready for digital transformation, following the Industry 4.0 paradigm.


    Alleantia proposition is based on three main components:

    1. 1.Alleantia ISC edge software, the core components installed on edge to bridge the gap between OT and IT in a codeless approach, as simple as connecting a printer to PC. Alleantia ISC software need the enabling connectors for OT (XPANGO Drivers) and integration modules for IT world (IIoT Apps). ISC software is fully managed from edge web interface where data access rights can be assigned to different IIoT Apps over industrial data stream.
    2. 2.Alleantia XPANGO driver is a proprietary technology to describe the Digital Twin of every industrial devices with information about data exchange with native protocols, data semantics and engineering info about alarms, maintenance and 3D model. On http://cloud.alleantia.com is available the free, public driver library with about 5000 different devices. If a device is not listed in the public library, on the same website are available free editors for registered users (without any publication obligation).
    3. 3.Alleantia IIoT Apps are a set of optional features available under license for ISC software to implement a ready to use version, without coding, of most common IT data interface to distribute IoT data to applications/cloud platforms and vice versa.

    Feature Highlights

    ISC software is fully managed from web interface for every configuration and operational check. Basic built-in functionalities are:

    1. 1. Scale and offset of industrial signals
    2. 2. Alarm definition using Boolean expression
    3. 3. Event definition to create “snapshot of interesting industrial data” following a Boolean expression as trigger
    4. 4. Cyclic datalogger of industrial data at variable frequency (min 1 second)
    5. 5. Store&Forward capability for IIoT App to manage connectivity problems
    6. 6. Statistical functions over streamed data via IIoT Apps to reduce traffic amount
    7. 7. Visual management of access right of IIoT to industrial data stream (data access: R/W or hidden, frequency of data exchange and statistical functions availability)
    8. 8. Simple web synoptics editor to show live data, for debug purpose
    9. 9. Local attachment files storage via web and IIoT apps to local archive of machine data (drawings, user manuals, maintenance reports…)
    10. 10. Part program file system web manager for every connected CNC machine

    As Part Program (P) we intend the instruction files executed from CNC machines (turning, milling, boring… machines) where all manufacturing process is described. Every CNC vendor uses different, custom API to access these files while Alleantia transform them in a standard folder tree to browse, using web interface or IIoT Apps.



    XPANGO DRIVERS: supported protocols

    XPANGO driver use native industrial protocol to communicate with industrial devices. A complete list and its availability for target OS is shown below. A supported protocol allows both read/write access and for CNC even the part program bidirectional exchange.
